How to publish a Lovable app to Google Play
Lovable builds you a full web app from a text prompt. But Google Play doesn't accept websites — it accepts Android apps. To reach the store you need to package your app as an Android build, meet Google's requirements, and pass closed testing with 12 testers for 14 days. Here's the whole path.
The publishing path, step by step
Package for Android
Wrap your web app as an Android app — the common routes are Capacitor or a TWA wrapper — and produce a signed AAB file.
Developer account
Create a Google Play Console account (one-time $25 fee). New personal accounts must complete closed testing before publishing.
Listing and paperwork
Upload the build, create your store listing, link a privacy policy, and fill out the Data Safety form to match what the app really does.
Closed testing
Run the closed test with 12+ active testers for 14 consecutive days, then request production access.

A "wrapped website" experience
A too-basic wrapper feels like a browser: no proper splash screen, a back button that misbehaves, screens not tuned for touch. Google is strict with apps that add no value beyond the website, so invest in basic native behavior before submitting.

Signing in with a Google account from inside a WebView can be blocked or behave differently than in the browser. If your app has login, test it first in the signed build on a real device.
Total dependence on the network
A Lovable app runs against a server. With no offline handling you get a white screen — and your testers (and Google's reviewers) will hit it in elevators and trains. At minimum, show a clear error state instead of a blank page.
No 12 real testers
Google requires testers to stay enrolled for 14 consecutive days. Fake installs or bots endanger your developer account. You need real people with real devices who actually open the app — that's exactly what our service provides.
